Introducing Aurora Inspirations This is a division of Miss Bette’s Creations, featuring a line of jewelry primarily inspired by the lights and colors of the Aurora Borealis. In most of my jewelry pieces I work with cut glass which refracts the light in such a way as too pick up color from many different directions. This particular piece is from my Fire Burst Collection and is made of Aurora Borealis glass. This particular glass is known for its iridescent quality. This is an extraordinary dangle earring set. The cut glass is so eye-catching. These earrings are hard to miss! The earrings measure 2” from top to bottom and 3/4” in width. The earrings come in their own gift box. This sweet little blue and silver mosaic bowl can be used for anything, to hold do dads or odds and ends or thing a ma chigs as they say. Whatever it is those things are I’m always looking for them, that’s why bowls and containers like this always come in handy. I’ve always found it to be a good idea to have a bowl like this around to thrown spare change into. Then whenever someone is looking for that extra lunch money or spare change for the air pump at the gas station or whatever the bowl becomes a family “give a penny, take a penny” sort of thing.” This sweet little bowl measures 4 1/2” in diameter and and 2” in height. This one of a kind custom decorative serving tray can be used as an ottoman or coffee table tray. It can be used in the bathroom to hold various items, or it can be used simply as a display piece all on it’s own. The outer shell of the tray is made of a strong and durable plastic. The tiles used in the mosaic design of this piece are mostly of ceramic. There are a few custom designed tiles built into every tray. These are made of resin material. This one of a kind planter is made of recycled and upcycled materials. The base of the tower stands on square wooden base . The tower itself was built up from a tube that is found at the inside of a roll of bubble wrap. The top of the tower is made of a plastic plant pot. The pot and tower base are handpainted and embellished with 24kt gold leaf! This planter is a great size and can be Displayed on the floor, in an entryway, near a fireplace, next to an end table, etc. Or it can be placed on a table or bench. With this project I decided to branch out a bit and get more creative. I wanted to give plant lovers more unique options for their indoor garden decor. I also wanted to test my creative sense and try to incorporate recycled and upcycled items into the design of this unique piece. The base stand is wood and is 8” in diameter'. This beautiful plant stand is handmade of mother of pearl tiles set onto a large dark wood base. This stand is my own design and creation. The pieces have been stained in a deep mahogany color. The feet are large and bold and are a spectacular accent to the mosaic top of this plant stand.
