This one of a kind planter is made of recycled and upcycled materials. The base of the tower which stands on a wood plant stand is made of a thin circle of plywood.., The tower itself was built up from a tube that is found at the inside of a roll of bubble wrap. The top of the tower is made of two plastic plant pots. The plant pots are covered with broken CD’s. The rest of the tower and base are decorated with glass mosaic tiles. This planter is a great size and can be Displayed on the floor, in an entryway, near a fireplace, next to an end table, etc. Or it can be placed on a table or bench. With this project I decided to branch out a bit and get more creative. I wanted to give plant lovers more unique options for their indoor garden decor. I also wanted to test my creative sense and try to incorporate recycled and upcycled items into the design of this unique piece. The base stand is wood and is 10” in diameter'.
